The latest addition to our knowledgeable team of experts, Emmi Kokki, strengthens the PhaMe team with her pharmaceutical knowledge. She is working as a Medical Service Specialist at Biocodex PhaMe.

Years of experience in scientific research and strong background in pharmaceutical industry

“I was interested in health care and natural sciences in school, so I decided to apply to study pharmacy. I have been involved in the field since”, she tells.

Emmi holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacy. She graduated from the doctoral program in molecular medicine defending her thesis on gene therapy. Besides her years of experience in scientific research, Emmi has worked in the pharmaceutical industry on clinical project management and quality assurance as well as in community pharmacy.

Combining scientific research and pharmaceutical industry

Emmi got interested in this position as a Medical Service Specialist as she has always found it fascinating to combine scientific research and pharmaceutical industry. As a former researcher science is close to Emmi’s heart, but she enjoys bringing that knowledge for the help of the patients.

“It is important for me to have a versatile and meaningful job, and this position seemed liked one”, Emmi says. “In the interviews the perception of communal and important work was strengthened”, she continues.

“I have enjoyed working as a member of a talented and enthusiastic group of people. I feel that I have blended in well with the new tasks and PhaMe team in these three months. This position combines well interesting new tasks and experience that I have from my studies and previous work”, Emmi tells.
