Introducing Petra Lehtinen, our Head of Regulatory
As of October 2021, Petra Lehtinen has started working as the new Head of Regulatory at Biocodex PhaMe. In her new role, Petra will be developing Regulatory Services and leading the Finnish Regulatory team. She will still continue working with her current clients as a Responsible Pharmacist and in Quality related tasks, such as GMP, GDP, and PV audits.
Petra joined Biocodex PhaMe in 2012 as a Regulatory and Quality Management Specialist. She has a strong background in Quality related tasks, as well as in Regulatory Affairs.
Diverse background in Quality and Regulatory Affairs
Petra started her career in pharmaceutical product development, and during the years, has gained experience on requirements of various product categories, such as medicinal products and medical devices. Petra believes in continuous development, and in her current work, she is helping her clients to develop their Quality Management System processes to become part of their everyday life as useful tools.
People and plants
Petra wants to be easily approachable to people and she enjoys working with others. She likes to let others shine and prefers to stay in the background herself.

Enjoying nature and growing plants and flowers is also part of Petra’s life. She loves to take care of them and make them grow and flourish.
A proud pharmacist
Petra has a Master’s Degree in Pharmacy and she is proud of the work pharmacists in all sectors do.
“We pharmacists make a difference every day by ensuring patient safety and product quality. In the industrial sector, we do that by ensuring that all medicinal products are adequately labelled and that marketing authorizations are kept up to date.”
Being a pharmacist inspires Petra also in her free time, and she has participated in scout events as part of the medical care team. You may even meet her at the next jamboree in Finland!
